This Privacy Policy explains how Story Uploader (the “App”), a personal tool operated by Christoph Ortenburg, handles data.

1. What data the App accesses

When the operator connects his own TikTok account, the App accesses through the official TikTok API:

• Basic profile information (display name, avatar, open ID)
• A list of the operator’s own videos and their statistics (views, likes, comments, shares)
• Permission to upload videos to the operator’s account as drafts

The App does not access data of any other TikTok user.

2. How the data is used

The data is used only to upload the operator’s own videos and to track how they perform.

3. Storage

All data is stored locally on the operator’s computer. Access tokens are stored in a local file and never shared. No data is sent to any server other than TikTok’s official API.

4. Sharing

No data is sold, shared with, or disclosed to third parties.

5. Deletion

The operator can delete all stored data at any time by deleting the local files and revoking the App’s access in the TikTok app settings (Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services permissions).
